Bitumen 50/70

Hiwa Oil Co, bitumen penetration grade 50/70 is used mainly as a paving grade, which is suitable for road construction, and maintenance. This grade of bitumen is normally used in the manufacturing of hot mix asphalt for pavement bases and wearing courses. Bitumen 50/70 is one of the most used bitumen grades among all other bituminous products.

Penetration bitumen grade 50/70 is produce by process of vacuum Bottom (VB) and air in the reactor. And due to the control of the process conditions, we reaching to pure quality of penetration grade bitumen 50/70 which has a penetration between 50~70. Bitumen is specified by the penetration and softening point test. The penetration grade bitumen 50/70 has a thermoplastic property which causes the material to soften at high temperatures and to harden at lower temperatures. This grade of bitumen 50/70 has very strong viscosity compared to other grades and its widely used.
